Cafe Cego's Scalloped Potatoes Recipe

  1. Slice potatoes 1/8-inch thick in food processor or possibly by hand.
  2. Rub bottom and sides of 2-qt (11- by 7-inch) glass baking dish with garlic clove.
  3. Arrange potato slices proportionately in dish.
  4. Whisk cream and salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste in bowl.
  5. Pour over potatoes.
  6. Sprinkle cheese over potatoes and dot with bits of butter.
  7. Bake at 375 degrees till browned and bubbly, 50 min.
  8. This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
