Sausage 'N Cheese Brunch Tarts Recipe

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Generously grease 12 muffin c., 2 1/2 x 1 1/4 inch.
  3. Cook and stir sausage till brown; drain.
  4. Mix baking mix and butter.
  5. Add in boiling water; stir vigorously till soft dough forms.
  6. Press 1 level tablespoonful dough on bottom and sides of each c.. Divide sausage proportionately among c..
  7. Beat half & half and egg; stir in onions and salt.
  8. Spoon about 1 Tbsp.
  9. into each c.. Sprinkle cheese over tops.
  10. Bake till edges are golden and centers are set, about 25 min.
  11. Chill any remaining tarts.
