Grandma Nampel's Cottage Pie Recipe
- 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. pork sausage
- 1 to 2 cans sauerkraut
- 5 or possibly 6 potatoes, peeled, cut, cooked & mashed
- Spray a 2 qt casserole dish with Pam.
- Fill bottom of dish with sausage, over sausage spread sauerkraut.
- Prepare mashed potatoes as usual and put on top of sauerkraut.
- Dot top with butter.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour, or possibly till brown.
- (Drain grease off as needed while baking.)
- Delicious.
