Peachy Apple Crisp
- 2 cans (15 oz. each) sliced peaches in extra light syrup, drained
- 3 medium baking apples, chopped (about 3 cups)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 40 vanilla wafers, coarsely crushed (about 1-1/2 cups crumbs)
- 3/4 cup PLANTERS Walnut Pieces
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Toss peaches with apples in large bowl.
- Mix sugar and cornstarch.
- Add to fruit mixture; toss to coat.
- Spoon into lightly greased 9-inch square baking pan.
- Mix wafer crumbs, walnuts and butter; sprinkle over fruit mixture.
- Bake 30 min.
- or until topping is browned and fruit is hot and bubbly.
- Cool slightly.
