Pumpkin Drops

  1. Preheat oven to 375F (190C).
  2. In a large bowl beat together butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla until light.
  3. Beat in pumpkin.
  4. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and pumpkin-pie spice, beating until blended.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.
  6. Drop teaspoonfuls of batter 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake until edges are golden, 10 to 12 minutes.
  8. Transfer cookies from baking sheets to a wire rack and cool.
