Cajun Spiced Nuts Recipe
- 2 Tbsp. Unsalted butter
- 3 c. Nuts (pecan halves, almonds, whatever)
- 1/2 c. Light brown sugar
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 2 tsp Pure chile pwdr
- 1 Tbsp. Grnd cumin
- 1/4 c. Cider vinegar Salt to taste
- 350F.
- Heat the butter over medium heat in a skillet.
- Add in nuts and saute/fry till lightly browned (2-3 min).
- Add in the brown sugar and continue cooking till lichtly caramelized.
- Stir in the paprika, chile pwdr and cumin.
- Add in vinegar and cook till all liquid evaporates.
- Season with salt.
- Spread in a single layer on a flat sheet and bake till crisp, 3-5 min.
- Will keep indefinitely if well sealed.
