Italian Spaghetti
- 1 lb. sausage
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 large onion or 1 Tbsp. onion powder
- 1 green pepper
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 to 5 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. garlic
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 2 large cans tomato sauce or 1 qt. premade spaghetti sauce
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 lb. box spaghetti
- Slice onions and green peppers into small pieces.
- Place in olive oil in a frying pan.
- Brown.
- Add hamburger and sausage and brown.
- Drain off all excess grease.
- Pour all ingredients into a large pot.
- Add some water as needed to get ingredients done. Cook on low heat to simmer all ingredients until done and seasoned, the longer you simmer, the better the sauce.
- Serve over cooked spaghetti noodles.
