Dazzled Lemon Honey Chicken
- 1/2 kg chicken breasts(cut into cubes)
- 1/3 cup rice flour
- 4 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 cilantro(to garnish)
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- First you will have to marinate the room temperature chicken with rice flour and 2 tablespoons of sesame oil and let it be soaked in for about an hour.
- An hour later fry them by using the vegetable oil till they turn into slightly brown as shown in the next picture.
- So this is how it looks after frying them.
- For the sauce you will have to saute the onions with a little bit of vegetable oil till they turn golden brown.
- Then, add the chicken stock, soy sauce, the other 2 tablespoons of sesame oil, honey and lemon juice.
- While it turns to boiling level kindly lower down the heat and add the cornstarch.
- Reminder: mix a little bit of water with the cornstarch and make it into a liquid form so that it won't be in a glue form.
- Add some salt and give a turnover to the sauce and mix it with the fried chicken.
- Serve it with some fresh fine chopped cilantro.
