Very Strawberry Ice Cream Recipe
- 2 (3 ounce.) pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin
- 2 c. boiling water
- 2 Large eggs (optional)
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 13 ounce. can evaporated lowfat milk
- 5 c. lowfat milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 quart. strawberries, mashed
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water, cold slightly; set aside.
- Beat Large eggs with electric mixer at medium speed till frothy.
- Gradually add in sugar, beating till thick.
- Add in gelatin mix, lowfat milk and vanilla; mix well.
- Stir in strawberries.
- Pour mix into freezer can of a 1 gallon hand-turned or possibly electric freezer.
- Start turning till made.
- Use large bowl which will hold a gallon to mix up in.
