Keema Tarts
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. cumin seed
- 1/2 lb. (225 g) lean ground beef King Sooper's 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- 1 tsp. garam masala
- 1 tsp. ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp. red chili powder or cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup Philadelphia Herb & Garlic Light Cream Cheese Product
- 1 pkg. (225 g) frozen mini tart shells, thawed
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh coriander (cilantro)
- Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add next 3 ingredients; cook and stir 3 min.
- or until onions are crisp-tender.
- Stir in meat and seasonings; cook 5 min.
- or just until meat is lightly browned, stirring occasionally.
- (Meat will not be done.)
- Remove from heat.
- Add cream cheese product; stir until melted.
- Place tart shells on baking sheet; fill with meat mixture, adding about 1 Tbsp.
- to each.
- Bake 18 to 20 min.
- or until meat is done and shells are golden brown.
- Top with coriander.
