Turkey Pepperoni Stromboli

  1. Roll out pizza dough to a rectangular shape.
  2. Spread sun-dried tomato pesto over pizza dough, leaving a 1/2 inch border.
  3. Crumble ricotta over pesto.
  4. Top with halved turkey pepperoni slices.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over toppings.
  6. Season with ground black pepper.
  7. Fold over the outside edges to make an even rectangle.
  8. Starting from the end closest to you, roll up the dough like a jelly roll, as tight as you can.
  9. Pinch seams together and lay seam side down on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  10. Beat the egg with garlic powder and a splash of water.
  11. Brush garlic egg wash all over stromboli.
  12. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and make cuts in top of stromboli.
  13. Bake at 350F for 25-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  14. Slice and serve with pizza sauce to dip.
