Sweet Corn-Easy Freeze

  1. Remove kernels from cob with a wide chefs knife.
  2. Put into a large pot, ADD sugar and salt.
  3. Add enough water to just cover corn, stir well and bring to a boil.
  4. Boil 1 to 5 minutes and remove from heat.
  5. Pour through a colander and reserve liquids.
  6. Place kernels onto cookie sheets to cool.
  7. Scoop corn into date marked pint or quart freezer bags, include a small amount of reserved water in each bag.
  8. Seal bags removing excess air, lay flat and freeze.
