Baked Alaskas Recipe

• 4 egg whites
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
• 1/4 tsp. vanilla
• 1/4 c. confectioners sugar
• 6 individual shortcake shells (from the bakery)
• 1 pint ice cream, well frzn

1. 24 hrs before preparation place ice cream in the coldest section of your freezer or possibly deep freeze.
2. Ice cream needs to be well frzn to make this dish.
3. Preheat oven to 450
