Red Apple Cobbler
- 2 red apples, cored and sliced
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 package pie dough (recommended: Pillsbury)
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Saute the apples in a medium pan over low heat with the brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and butter until the apples become tender.
- Place in small ramekin and cover it with a piece of dough to fit over the top of the ramekin.
- Cut off excess dough.
- Place the ramekin in a small water bath (a skillet with about a 1/4-inch of water), and bake for 35 minutes or until crust in golden brown.
