Pasta.....pasta Shells With Dilled Crab Filling
- 8 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 medium onion, chopped fine
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 14-12 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 (6 1/2 ounce) can crab, rinsed and drained
- 1 teaspoon dried dill weed, crushed
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (16 ounce) jar pasta sauce
- Cook the pasta shells according to directions on box,drain, set aside to let cool.Preheat oven to 350 and coat the bottom of a 11x7 baking dish with pasta sauce, about 6-8 spoon-fulls.
- Meanwhile melt the butter in a large non-stick skillet over low heat.Add onion and garlic cook for 15 minutes or until soft.
- Remove from heat and stir in cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, crab,dill,lemon peel,salt and pepper.
- Mix well and spoon into pasta shells.Arrange the stuffed shells on top of the sauce.After shells are arranged,add the rest of the sauce around the pasta shells.Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.Serve hot.
