Best Corn Bread Recipe
- 2 c. buttermilk baking mix
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. butter, melted
- 1 (8 ounce.) can cream style corn
- 2 Large eggs, slightly beaten
- Combine first 4 ingredients in bowl.
- Add in buttermilk, butter, corn and Large eggs.
- Mix well.
- Batter will be lumpy.
- Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 min.
- Cold slightly before cutting.
- Makes 12-15 servings.
