Classic Carrot Cake

  1. Preheat Oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease/flour a 13" x 9" baking pan.
  3. In large bowl, combine all ingredients (except frosting ingredients) and mix well.
  4. Pour batter into greased/floured pan.
  5. Bake for 1 hour.
  6. Cool cake before frosting.
  7. For Frosting: Combine butter and cream cheese in medium sized bowl.
  8. Blend well.
  9. Graduall beat in confectioner's sugar.
  10. Add vanilla and beat until smooth.
