Man Bacon

  1. Heat a waffle iron to medium heat.
  2. Lay the bacon on the waffle iron and close lid.
  3. Cook for 2 1/2 minutes.
  4. Move the bacon pieces so the unseared areas now come in direct contact with the metal.
  5. Close the lid and cook for another 2 1/2 to 5 minutes, depending on desired crispness.
  6. Transfer the bacon to a paper towel lined plate.
  7. Reserve rendered fat for another use.
  8. Depending on bacon, you will have 1 to 3 tablespoons of fat.
