Petite Cherry Cheese Cup Cakes

  1. Beat first 5 ingredients until light and fluffy.
  2. Line small muffin tins with paper baking cups and place a vanilla wafer in the bottom of each.
  3. Fill cups 2/3 full with cream cheese mixture.
  4. Bake at 375 F. for 15 to 20 minutes until set.
  5. Top each with 1 Tablespoon cherry pie filling.
  6. Chill.
  7. Yield: 24 cakes.
