Easy No-fry Chicken Nuggets
- 160 grams Ground chicken thigh
- 1 Egg
- 3 tbsp Panko
- 1 dash Salt
- 1 dash Pepper
- 1 Katakuriko (or cake flour)
- 1 dash Salt
- Combine all ingredients and mix well.
- Form into round and flattened patties.
- Dust both sides of the patties with katakuriko.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan and grill both sides until browned.
- Turn the heat to low and cover the pan.
- Cook well.
- Serve with a little salt.
- I usually freeze them!
- It's very handy because if you pack them in bentos in the morning, it will defrost naturally by lunchtime!
- If the meat mixture is too sticky and hard to form, add more panko.
- If you want them soft and fluffy, I recommend you prepare them without panko.
