Yakitori made in a Frying Pan
- 1 Chicken thigh meat
- 1 to 2 The white part of a Japanese leek
- 1 Salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp each Soy sauce, cooking sake, mirin
- 1 Ichimi chilli powder
- 1 Vegetable oil
- Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and flavor with salt and pepper.
- Cut the leek into 1 cm pieces and set aside.
- Combine soy sauce, sake, and mirin in equal amounts of each and set aside.
- If you like a sweeter flavor, add sugar.
- Skewer the chicken and leek in that order and cook in a frying pan with a little oil.
- Once both sides have browned, reduce the heat and add the flavoring ingredients.
- Cook until you get the thick teriyaki flavor.
- Transfer to a serving place and sprinkle ichimi chili powder if you like, and it's complete.
