Popcorn Balls Recipe
- 7-8 c. popped popcorn (I just use 1 bag of microwave popcorn)
- 3 c. mini marshmallows
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- A few drops of food coloring
- Place popped corn in a large buttered bowl.
- Set aside.
- Put remaining ingredients in top of double boiler.
- Set over boiling water and stir till marshmallows are melted.
- Tint with your choice of color.
- Pour marshmallow mix over popped corn and stir gently to coat.
- Grease hands with butter and quickly shape into balls.
- To store-wrap in plastic wrap and chill.
- Makes about 8 medium size balls.
- Great after school snack!
