VELVEETA Cheesy Broccoli Soup
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup chopped onion King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2-1/2 cups milk
- 3/4 lb. (12 oz.) VELVEETA, cut up
- 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped broccoli, thawed, drained
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- Melt butter in large saucepan on medium heat.
- Add onion; cook and stir 5 min.
- or until onion is tender.
- Add flour; cook 1 min.
- or until bubbly, stirring constantly with wire whisk.
- Gradually add milk, stirring until well blended.
- Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 1 min.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Cook until VELVEETA is completely melted and soup is heated through, stirring occasionally.
