Bran Corn Meal Sticks Recipe

  1. Cream shortening.
  2. Add in sugar and mix well.
  3. Add in well-beaten egg, lowfat milk, bran, and corn-meal.
  4. Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking pwdr and salt.
  5. Add in to first mix, stirring only till well blended.
  6. Pour into well-oiled pans.
  7. Bake in moderate oven (400x F) 20 min.
  8. 12 bran sticks.
