Meatball Stew

  1. Combine chuck, salt, pepper and breadcrumbs and shape into small balls.
  2. Brown in small amount of oil.
  3. Remove and set aside. Mix onion soup mix with 4 cups of water.
  4. Drain oil from pan and add a little of the onion soup to the bottom and boil to remove the drippings.
  5. Place the loosened drippings, the remainder of the soup and the remainder of the ingredients into large pot.
  6. Cook until vegetables are done.
  7. Season to taste.
  8. Place meatballs into stew and simmer for 15 minutes.
  9. Serve.
