Marshmallow Pecan Squash Dish

  1. Halve squash; remove and discard seeds & fibers.
  2. Place squash, cut side up, in a 1"' x 7" x 2" baking dish.
  3. Combine cracker crumbs, pecans, 2 tablespoons butter, brown sugar, and nutmeg.
  4. Brush squash with remaining butter.
  5. Spoon 1/4th of the nut mixture into each squash half.
  6. Bake, covered, in a 400 degree oven 50-55 minute
  7. Uncover baking dish, top each squash half with 1/4 c marshmallows.
  8. Bake 4-5 minute till marshmallows are golden.
  9. Serve.
