Easy Panko Toasted Hanpen

  1. Combine mayonnaise, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl, and mix well.
  2. Slice the hanpen into thirds, make a cut into the sides, and spread Japanese mustard.
  3. Cut these sections again into thirds to make cubes.
  4. Coat the hanpen in the sauce, transfer to a heat-resistant dish, sprinkle with panko and grated cheese, then bake in an oven or toaster oven until golden brown.
  5. Serve 'em up!
