Penne Alla Vodka

  1. Cook pasta in large pot of salted boiling water as box directs.
  2. Add peas just before draining pasta.
  3. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a medium saucepan.
  4. Add shallots; cover and cook over medium heat 3 minutes.
  5. Add vodka; boil until evaporated, about 2 minutes.
  6. Stir in marinara sauce; simmer 2 minutes to blend flavors.
  7. Stir in cream cheese and cook, stirring until melted.
  8. Drain pasta and peas.
  9. Return to pot; add sauce and gently toss to combine.
