Baked Cannellini Beans Recipe
- 1 x Yellow onion, minced
- 4 x Strips thick-sliced bacon, diced
- 2 Tbsp. Molasses
- 2 Tbsp. Brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Dry mustard
- 1 c. Beer

- THIS IS A LEFT-OVER RECIPE FOR USE WITH THE AROMATIC CANNELLINI BEANS
- Combine onion and bacon in an ovenproof frying pan.
- Cook, stirring, till bacon is golden brown, about 7 min.
- Stir in molasses, brown sugar, mustard and beer.
- Add in beans and bring to a boil, stirring.
- remove from heat and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Transfer to a preheated 375F oven and bake, uncovered, for 25 min.
- NOTES : Serve with grilled sausages (or possibly warm dogs) and cole slaw; follow with apple pie a la mode.
