Best Butter Roll Out Cookies Recipe
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 lg. egg
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 c. flour
- In a large bowl cream butter and sugar with an electric mixer.
- Beat in vanilla and egg.
- Add in baking pwdr and flour one c. at a time.
- The dough will be very stiff, add in the last of the flour by hand.
- Don't refrigeratedough.
- Roll out on floured board 1/8 inch thick and cut out cookies with cutters.
- Bake on top rack of oven 6-7 min just till LIGHTLY golden brown.
- Cold on cooling grid and ice.
