Easy Beef Stew
- 2 Tbsp. oil, divided
- 1 beef top round steak (1 lb.), cut into bite-sized pieces King Sooper's 1 lb For $3.77 thru 02/09
- 2 medium onions, chopped (about 2 cups) King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1 medium green pepper, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup A.1. Original Sauce
- 3 cups hot cooked white rice
- Heat 1 Tbsp.
- of the oil in Dutch oven or large saucepan on medium-high heat.
- Add steak; cook and stir 4 to 5 min.
- or until browned on all sides.
- Remove steak from saucepan; cover to keep warm.
- Cook onions and peppers in remaining 1 Tbsp.
- oil in same pan 2 to 3 min.
- or until crisp-tender, stirring frequently.
- Add broth and steak; bring to boil.
- Reduce heat to medium-low; cover.
- Simmer 1 hour or until steak is tender.
- Stir in steak sauce.
- Serve over rice.
