Chocolate Chill Cake

  1. Melt the chocolate over hot water.
  2. Blend in water.
  3. Remove from heat; add egg yolks; beat until smooth.
  4. Add sugar; mix well.
  5. Chill.
  6. Fold whipped topping into chocolate mixture, then fold in beaten egg whites.
  7. Line bottom and sides of 9x5-inch loaf pan with wax paper.
  8. Line sides of pan with ladyfingers.
  9. Pour half of chocolate mixture into pan.
  10. Top with a layer of ladyfingers.
  11. Add remaining mixture; arrange a layer of ladyfingers on top.
  12. Chill 12 to 24 hours.
  13. Unmold; garnish with more whipped topping and chocolate sauce, if desired.
