Easily Made in 5 Minutes! Green Pepper and Carrot Kinpira

  1. Cut the green pepper and carrot into thin strips.
  2. (If you cut the pepper horizontally, the size will be easier to use for bentos or small side-dish plates.)
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan.
  4. Cook Step 1 and once they become slightly tender, stir in the sugar.
  5. Then pour in the soy sauce, mix it in, and stop the heat.
  6. Add the bonito flakes and it's done.
  7. Arrange on a dish and optionally top with white sesame seeds.
