Easy Salmon Quiche
- 1 ready-to-use refrigerated pie crust (1/2 of 400-g pkg.)
- 1 onion, finely chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 cans (213 g each) sockeye salmon, drained, flaked
- 1 cup Cracker Barrel Shredded Double Cheddar Cheese
- 5 eggs
- 1/3 cup Miracle Whip Original Spread Family Dollar $3.50 thru 02/07
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
- 1 tsp. each dried thyme and dill weed
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Place refrigerated pie crust into a 9-inch pie plate.
- Cook onions and garlic in skillet sprayed with cooking spray over medium heat 5 min.
- or until crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.
- Spread onion mixture, salmon and cheese onto bottom of pie shell.
- Beat eggs, Miracle Whip and milk in medium bowl with whisk until well blended.
- Add remaining ingredients; stir until blended.
- Pour egg mixture over ingredients in pie shell.
- Place on rimmed baking sheet.
- Bake 40 to 45 min.
- or until knife inserted in centre comes out clean and top is golden brown.
- Let stand 10 min.
