Potato Pizza Hotdish
- 1 lb ground beef
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup chopped onion
- 12 teaspoon oregano
- 14 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 12 teaspoon sugar
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
- 1 cup cheddar cheese soup
- 12 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 12 cup parmesan cheese
- Brown the beef and drain fat.
- Sprinkle with salt.
- Set aside.
- Combine onion, oregano, pepper, sugar and tomato sauce.
- Set aside.
- Mix the soup and milk until smooth and then add the potatoes and ground beef.
- Spread in a 9X13 pan and dot with butter.
- Pour the tomato sauce over top, but do not stir.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil and sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan.
- Bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes.
