Flora's Peanut&Apple Butter French Toast
- 2 cup Peanut Butter
- 2 cup Apple Butter
- 3 Eggs
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 dash Ground Cinnamon
- 1 dash Salt
- 8 slice Thick Cut Bread
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 1 dusting of powdered sugar
- 1 small bowl of Maple Syrup for dipping
- Heat your skillet to Medium-High heat.
- Smooth half the peanut butter on a slice of bread, and half the apple butter on the other half.
- Place the two slices of bread together and cut at an angle to make two triangles.
- In a bowl mix the eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt together.
- Coat your skillet with a tablespoon of butter
- Roll your triangles on the egg mixture and add into the hot pan.
- Flip the toast whenever the bottom has browned and continue browning the opposite side.
- Transfer to a plate and dust with powdered sugar if you desire.
- Serve with maple syrup for dipping.
