Rebekah's Favorite Hot Crab Dip
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine
- 2 lb. (32 oz.) VELVEETA, cut up
- 2 cans (4-1/4 oz. each) crabmeat, drained
- Assorted crackers and breadsticks
- In top of double boiler, melt the margarine with the VELVEETA.
- Fold in the crabmeat.
- (The mixture will be thin, but will thicken upon standing.)
- Spoon into a chafing dish or a fondue pot.
- Serve hot with crackers or breadsticks.
- Makes about 4 cups.
- Notes: Recipe is easily halved.
- Reheats well.
- Leftovers are especially good reheated and served over toast points.
- Personal Note: Rebekah is my daughter and this is her favorite appetizer when she has a party.
- This is super simple, and will be the first thing to go at your party.
