Christmas Wreaths
- 38 large marshmallows
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) margarine
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- green food coloring (enough to make it the shade of green desired)
- 1 1/2 cups corn flakes (DO NOT CRUSH!!)
- Red hots and silver decorations for the berries
- Melt the marshmallows and margarine in the top of a double boiler or over very low heat until melted.
- Stir in vanilla and food coloring to tint to the desired shade of green.
- Combine marshmallow mixture and corn flakes.
- Stir to mix all flakes with the marshmallow mixture.
- Stir carefully so not to break the flakes.
- Drop by heaping tablespoons on buttered foil.
- Then shape into wreaths, using your fingers dipped into cold water so it is easier to shape.
- Decorate with red hots or decorations to make Christmas wreaths.
