Grilled Asparagus

  1. Preheat a grill or grill pan.
  2. In a pot of boiling water add salt and asparagus and cook for 1 minute to blanch.
  3. Remove asparagus from pot, and plunge into a bowl of ice water, to cool.
  4. Pat asparagus dry, drizzle with oil, salt, and pepper to taste.
  5. Put asparagus on a heated grill.
  6. Grill for about 2 minutes, turning once or so.
