40-Minute Barbecued Chicken

  1. Heat barbecue for indirect grilling: Light one side of barbecue, leaving other side unlit.
  2. Close lid; heat barbecue to 350 degrees F.
  3. Pour 3/4 cup barbecue sauce over chicken in shallow dish; turn to evenly coat drummettes.
  4. Place chicken on grate over lit area; grill 2 min.
  5. Meanwhile, use fork to poke a few holes in large sheet of foil sprayed with cooking spray.
  6. Place foil on grate over unlit area.
  7. Turn chicken; place on foil.
  8. Cover.
  9. Grill 35 min.
  10. or until chicken is done (170 degrees F), monitoring for consistent grill temperature and brushing chicken with remaining sauce for the last 5 min.
