Buttermilk Pie
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 12 cup butter, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 (9 inch) pie shells, unbaked
- Mix sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, cornstarch, butter, and eggs with a hand mixer at low speed until uniform and well-blended.
- Add buttermilk and mix well.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes, or until filling is set and brown on top.
