Buttermilk Pie

  1. Mix sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, cornstarch, butter, and eggs with a hand mixer at low speed until uniform and well-blended.
  2. Add buttermilk and mix well.
  3. Pour into pie shell.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes, or until filling is set and brown on top.
