Smoked Gouda Grits

  1. Prepare grits per package directions, replacing half of the required water with half-and- half.
  2. When grits begin to thicken, stir in a large handful of Gouda.
  3. Add more as desired.
  4. Top with a pat of butter and season with sea salt and pepper.
