Trifle For Passover Recipe

  1. Beat Large eggs well.
  2. Mix sugar and flour; add in to Large eggs, beating in slowly.
  3. Add in lemon juice, butter and water.
  4. Cook in double boiler till thick.
  5. Cut cake into 2 layers.
  6. Put 1 layer in the bottom of a large glass serving bowl.
  7. Pour over 1/2 of the prepared Jello before it is congealed.
  8. Pour over Jello 1/2 of the custard.
  9. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the macaroon crumbs.
  10. Put on second cake layer and repeat steps.
  11. Top with whole strawberries.
  12. Make 1 day ahead or possibly early in the morning.
  13. Serves 16.
  14. Don't freeze.
