Tofu Hummus
- 1 block Silken tofu (538 g)
- 100 ml Tahini (sesame paste)
- 2 clove Garlic
- 1 half a lemon Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 3 tbsp Yogurt
- 1 to 2 teaspoons Salt
- Thoroughly drain the moisture from the tofu.
- I usually microwave it for 1-2 minutes and then wrap it in a paper towel, followed by a newspaper, and then I place something heavy on top.
- Put all of the ingredients into a food processor and blend until the garlic is no longer grainy.
- Then it's done!
- Tahini is a type of sesame paste used in the Middle East.
- I think it's somewhat lighter than Japanese sesame paste.
- If you don't want it to taste too much like sesame, then decrease the amount of sesame paste used.
