Cookie Castle

  1. Make Castle Frame: Rinse cartons.
  2. Using razor blade or mat knife, cut off top of cartons 5 1/4 inches from the bottom; discard tops.
  3. Turn cartons upside down and tape together to form square.
  4. Using frosting, attach 3 whole grahams to each of 3 sid es of frame (corners of frame will show).
  5. Cut 1 whole graham in half to make 2 squares.
  6. On remaining side of frame, attach halved graham on right top (this will be over drawbridge door); place remaining whole grahams to left of halved graham.
  7. Cut out uncovered cardboard square to make drawbridge door opening.
  8. Make Castle Columns: Stack 10 chocolate sandwich cookies, securing with 1 teaspoon frosting between cookies; repeat to make a second stack.
  9. Attach each column to right and left front corners of castle with frosting.
  10. Make roof and floor: Spread frosting on castle roof; press 9 chocolate chip cookies into frosting.
  11. Spread frosting inside castle drawbridge door; press 3 cookies into frosting, cutting to fit.
  12. Halve 9 pieces of bubble gum; alternately attach whole and halved pieces of bubble gum along top edge of each side.
  13. Stand ice cream cones, top-side down, on each column.
  14. Make windows: Brush peppermint gum sticks with yellow food coloring, using damp paper towel to even the color.
  15. Cut each stick in half to form 18 pieces.
  16. For 3 front top windows, place 2 gum pieces side by side for each window; round the top corners
