The Original Worcestershire Sauce

  1. Drain kidney beans and pass through mill.
  2. Place in one gallon jar.
  3. Add soy sauce and garlic powder.
  4. Wash sardines off with vinegar and mash.
  5. Add to kidney bean mixture.
  6. In cooking pot, place peeled and sliced apples.
  7. Cover with brown vinegar.
  8. Add next four spices and coffee.
  9. Bring to boil, boil slowly for 2 hours.
  10. As the water in the vinegar evaporates add 1/2 cup (125 ml) vinegar and 1/2 cup (125 ml) water.
  11. Stir frequently.
  12. Remove from heat and pass through food mill.
  13. Add to gallon jar.
  14. Finally, add last five ingredients to gallon jar and fill jar to 1 gallon (3.8 ltr) with vinegar.
  15. Shake well, let stand 24 hours, ready to use.
  16. ENJOY!
