Apple Pie Pork Chops
- 12 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 pork loin chops, 1 inch thick (about 3 pounds total)
- 14 cup vegetable oil
- 1 (21 ounce) container apple pie filling
- 12 cup water
- In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, and pepper; mix well.
- Dip the pork chops in the flour mixture, coating completely.
- In a large deep skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the chops and brown for 4 to 5 minutes per side.
- Stir in the pie filling and water.
- Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, or until no pink remains in the chops.
- Serve with the sauce spooned over the top.
