Honey Cereal and Ginger Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Mix egg, cereal and honey in small bowl; let stand 5 min.
  3. Mix flour, baking soda and spices in another bowl; set aside.
  4. Beat margarine and 3/4 cup of the sugar in large bowl until creamy; blend in cereal mixture.
  5. Add flour mixture; mix well.
  6. Stir in pecans.
  7. Shape into 40 (1-inch) balls; roll in remaining 1/4 cup sugar until evenly coated.
  8. Place, 2 inches apart, on lightly greased baking sheet.
  9. Flatten balls with bottom of glass.
  10. Bake 7 to 9 min.
  11. or until lightly browned.
  12. Let stand 1 min.
  13. before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
