Light Cherry Dessert

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Wash cherries; remove stems and pits.
  3. Place pitted cherries in an 8 cup oven-proof dish.
  4. In the bowl of a food processor or blender, combine milk, eggs, splenda, sugar, salt, and melted margarine.
  5. Blend until smooth.
  6. Add flour, blend briefly - do not overmix once flour is added.
  7. Pour batter into baking dish, covering cherries, and bake for 30 minutes or until top is light golden brown and center is done.
  8. Sift confectioners' sugar over the top and serve while still warm.
