Homemade Ham and Beans
- 1/2 lb. dried sm. red beans
- 1/2 pkg. Old El Paso taco seasoning
- 1/2 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning
- 1/2 lb. ham, chopped
- Pour beans into bowl and cover with water; soak overnight.
- Drain beans and pour beans into pan.
- Cover beans with water and bring to a simmer.
- Beans need to simmer over medium heat for about six hours (you will need to check water level occasionally).
- About an hour before beans are done, cut up ham and add to beans.
- Add taco seasoning and ranch seasoning.
- When beans are tender - serve and enjoy!
